Saint-Gobain partnership with Bud Racing Kawasaki France

Norton renews partnership with Bud Racing Kawasaki France

Saint-Gobain Abrasives’ brand, Norton, has revealed that it has renewed its partnership with Bud Racing Kawasaki, the most important Motocross team in France. We extended our agreement following the team’s impressive performance in 2017, and are delighted that we will be part of the team’s continued success over the next three years.

Positive partnership

Both Norton and Bud Racing Kawasaki France gain from our partnership, as we are able to share our know-how and expertise through our association, prioritising professional commitment, team spirit and solidarity.

Bud Racing has already been using Norton products for more than 20 years, before our partnership began in 2017. Our reputation for performance and reliability had led the team to regularly use our discs, blocks and brushes. As the official supplier of abrasives, we now supply all of our high performance products and expertise to support the team. At the same time, we benefit from increased visibility to thousands of Motocross fans when the team races and especially they win in France and across Europe.

From grinding to sanding and finishing, the team uses a wide range of Norton products developing and maintaining all of the team’s bikes. You can see them in action in their workshop:

Victorious performance

Based in Hossegor, south-west France Bud Racing was created in 1995 by the Dassé brothers, initially working on engine and suspension development. The team began racing in 2007, supported by Kawasaki, with the young rider, Marvin Musquin, and has since gone on to compete in the European and French championships.

Bud Racing Kawasaki France is internationally renowned for its performance, particulary in the European Championship. Among its fantastic results, the team has won the title of European Champion EMX125 2017 with Brian Moreau; Benoît Paturel placed third in the Pro Hexis Supercross de Tour and Brian Moreau was once again victorious in the French Championship on the sand in Hossegor in 2017! The team has always set the example of working with young and talented riders in the European series, an attitude which has led them to success throughout their racing history.
