On 13th June 2019, Saint-Gobain Abrasives once again reiterated its focus on improving the customer experience during the 3rd annual edition of "We Are Customer Service Day" across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
In a dedicated day that sees all Saint-Gobain Abrasives sites and employees across EMEA participate, We Are Customer Service Day is a collaborative, cross departmental initiative with the sole objective of improving customer satisfaction at every interaction.
As customer service is at the core of all operations within Saint-Gobain, each member of the team has a role to play. From the warehouse staff to the marketing department, all colleagues came together to share ideas and best practices with how to better serve the customer.
Small teams at each country site took part in a number of local initiatives; participating in lively exchanges concerning all areas of the customer experience as a way to better understand where opportunities for improvements may lie. This flexible, collaborative approach will ultimately deliver the company's vision of becoming THE partner of reference for abrasives.
Alongside the new initiatives, Saint-Gobain Abrasives are currently investing heavily in new technologies and innovative solutions that will make the company even easier to deal with. The new Product Information Management (PIM) system and MyAbrasives online ordering website are just two of the exciting projects that are set to revolutionise the customer experience in 2019.
