Saint-Gobain has extensive experience in the field of R&D, & it combines this with significant investment, which has resulted in a series of innovations including Norton Silencio diamond blades as well as the state of the art CS 451 Clipper Floor Saw.
The revolutionary Norton Silencio diamond blade features a new technology to provide an unprecedented noise-dampening effect, reaching reductions of up to 15dB (A) which is 30 times less noise.
This blade ideal to be used in residential areas, city-centres, schools, hospitals & other areas that are especially sensitive to noise, as well as inside buildings, as usually the noise generated is amplified by the reverberations from the surrounding walls and ceilings.
Another innovation, the Norton Clipper CS451 floor saw is the first of a new generation of Norton Clipper machines designed for low vibration. The CS451 has a reduced vibration level by 40% compared to Norton Clipper’s traditionally best selling C99 floor saw. The vibration level is one of the lowest in the market place and allows the user to operate the machine all day while remaining within the daily recommended HAV exposure level.
